Mesotherapy of the Face, Neck, Decollete and Hand
In mesotherapy, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, peptides and some medications that the skin needs are injected into the skin with very thin needles.
Since the absorption of topical products from the skin is limited, this method increases the quality, moisture and elasticity of the skin more effectively and tightens the pores. Depending on the content used, dark circles around the eyes and blemishes on the skin are lightened to some extent.
Is it a painful procedure?
Before the procedure, local anesthetic cream is left on the skin for 15-20 minutes. Thus, the feeling of pain is reduced.
How many sessions should mesotherapy be applied?
The frequency of application is planned to be between 1 and 4 weeks, and the number of applications is planned to be between 3 and 8 sessions. This varies depending on the person's age and needs. However, the frequency and number of applications may change with your doctor's recommendation during your follow-ups.
Who cannot undergo mesotherapy?
• Acute, chronic infections and sepsis
• SLE (systemic lupus), porphyria, severe allergic reaction,
• Known allergy to any of the substances to be applied
• Infection at the application site
• Presence of cancer or receiving chemotherapy treatments
• Those who have a disease that suppresses the immune system or use immunosuppressant drugs
• Those with serious autoimmune disease, organ failure or systemic disease (such as diabetes, kidney failure, liver disease)
• Abnormal platelet (thrombocyte) dysfunctions (blood diseases; circulatory disorders, hypofibrinogenemia, critical thrombocytopenia)
•Chronic liver disease
• Anti-coagulant therapy
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding period
• Use of corticosteroids in the last 2 weeks before the procedure.
• Those with active psychological/psychiatric disorders
• Those with HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C infections
What should be taken into consideration after the application?
• Protect the application area from the sun after application.
• Please do not wear make-up for the first 24 hours. Avoid contact.
• Avoid contact with water, soap, cosmetics and similar products, irritating behaviors such as rubbing and scratching, and steam interaction until 48 hours after the procedure.
• Use the treatment recommended by your doctor.
