Cheekbone Filler Injection

The top of the cheekbone is an important structure that gives the face a "V" shape. In this region, there are holding ligaments that hold the face up.

As these ligaments loosen with aging, the cheeks sink downward, the nasolabial groove becomes prominent, and the face sags downward at the jaw line. Filling applications in this area will support this retaining ligament and provide some "lifting" effect, depending on the person's facial structure and age. With the accompanying middle cheek filler, the under-eye groove is also alleviated by providing projection on the face.

What are the benefits of filler injection to the cheekbone?

The "V" shape that the face loses over time is restored. The person looks younger and more dynamic. With its indirect effect, the nasolabial groove becomes darker, and the sagging in the jawline decreases.

How is cheekbone filler applied?

After anesthetizing with local anesthetic cream and wiping the face, the application is made on the bone with a needle. - If the patient is young and wants a "top model look," a superficial (subdermal) filler can be made in this area with a cannula.

How long does the application last?

The permanence of the application varies depending on the quality, technology, and amount of filler applied. When your doctor meets with you at this point, he offers different filler options and explains their permanence period.

What amount of cheekbone filler is used?

This completely depends on the person's age, expectations, and face structure. While 1-2 cc may be sufficient for young patients in their 30s who still have slight sagging, the amount varies in older patients. At this point, the quality and technology of the product used are also important. A procedure that can be performed with 3–4 syringes with a high-quality filler with high lifting capacity can be performed in suitable patients with 2 syringe fillers.
