Nefertiti Lift with Botulinum Toxin Injection

The neck is the area that reveals a woman's age, even though we have had the necessary care and procedures done to our face. Another area where botulinum toxin has been popularly applied recently is the neck. Inspired by the thin and long neck of the ancient Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, this application is called "Nefertiti Lift."

The platysma muscle in the neck pulls the lower part of the face down, causing a sagging appearance. The bands of this muscle can be seen as vertical lines from the jawline to the neck, even when talking or standing still. By applying botulinum toxin to these platysmal bands and some points on the jaw line, the appearance of the bands is eliminated and a thinner, longer and tighter appearance is achieved in the neck. It is also a complementary application to facial procedures.
